JenJon Karjat is situated in a 41-acre gated community and the striking Chalets will instantly remind you of the lovely Switzerland homes.

 

Inspired by the typical houses found in the Alpine regions of Europe, the chalets possess a distinct charm of its own. Surrounded by picket fence, blooming bougainvillea and green lawns, our 1BHK chalets can accommodate upto 4 adults on a double bed and a double sofa-cum-bed. The large French windows that open up straight into the lawns and the cozy set up makes the Chalets an ideal accommodation for guests craving a relaxing and pollution-free stay at Karjat.





Check-In and Check-Out:

Check-In Time : 12 noon

Check-Out Time : 11 a.m.

Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization at the chalet, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.

 


House Rules:

 

Outside food is not allowed in the Chalet.

 

There is a Kitchenette in the Chalet but guests are not expected to cook anything. Guests are not allowed to access the main kitchen except for infants with prior permission.

 

Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.

 

We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.

 

Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.

 

Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.

 

Smoking within the chalet/rooms is prohibited.

 

Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.

 

As required by law, every guest above 18 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof of address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.

 

Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept/honour a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.

 

Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time (if part of package). If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.


About the Property:

 

The chalet is in a rural area of Maharashtra, powered by MSEDCL and although power outages have now reduced considerably, an occasional outage remains a possibility. In case of disruption due to fluctuation, we have an inverter which burns out beyond 2 hours of usage.

 

This chalet has 2 rooms with a common bathroom.

 

JenJon hosts various chalets and chalets in this estate. Together, we can host up to 35 guests on the property.

 


About the Locality:

 

Guests can take long walks in the gated community of 41-acres and along the river, which remains in full flow during rains and few months after that.

 

Another major perennial flowing river is just 5 minutes from the estate

Check-in is 12 noon and check-out is 11 am

Apart from the 3 bedrooms and the multi-purpose hall, patios, balconies, a tall multi-level glass covered lounge, a terrace with full view of the Western Ghats and green lawns await the guests.

 

The Barbeque area, the Gazebo space and the Passion Fruit Canopy are the highlights of the Hallelujah Villa. The Gazebo and Passion Fruit Canopy could also be used as a dining space.

 

Enough parking spaces are available.

Every bedroom has a large king-size bed along with a double sofa-cum-bed, hence accommodating upto 4 guests in each bedroom. Thus, a total of 12 guests can be accommodated on beds and if so required, an additional 6 guests could be accommodated in the hall on floor mattresses. Potentially 18 guests could stay in the Hallelujah Villa.

 

All bedrooms and the hall are air-conditioned. Other amenities in the rooms include a personalized sit-out space, writing table, luggage rack, Wi-Fi operated Smart TV and hot water supply in the ensuite bathroom. Linen, soap and shampoo are provided.

Featuring one large majestic sofa as its only fixed furniture, this space can be utilised for various activities and occassions such as a 20-seater conference room with a projector, mikes and a speaker, a sit-down lunch or dinner spot, a gathering space as well as a party hall with mood changing lights.

  • A farm with about 65 different varieties of herbs, shrubs, plants and trees adjoins the Villa.
  • About 100 meters to east we have a river and 100 meters to South we have a forest too.
  • Each of the 3 bedrooms of the villa could be hired independently.
  • Although the villa comes with a complete meal package, it could also be hired on an only-stay package.
  • The villa can also be hired for events, conferences, retreats, pre-wedding shoots, and more.
  • Minimum 8 adults required to hire the entire villa.
  • Children above 6 years and extra adults will be charged extra per night.
  • Additional mattress will be provided if there are more than 12 guests.
  • All prices are exclusive of GST.
  • Pictures attached here are real and latest.
  • Check-in is at 12 noon and check-out will be at 11 a.m. sharp.
  • Rs. 5000 will be collected in cash, on arrival, from guests as Security Deposit and same will be refunded at the time of check-out, after inspection. Any breakages or missing item will be deducted from the Security Deposit.
  • Minimum Booking Deposit of 70% is required to block the date and the remaining 30% to be paid before check-in.
  • Cancellation of booking can be done 15 days prior to the check-in date, or else the advance booking amount will be forfeited.

Food

Food is prepared in our kitchen by the staff. Indian, Chinese and Continental food options are available. Apart from an all inclusive package menu, a la carte options are available as detailed in the menu card placed in the Villa.

Guests can arrange their own food too, in which case a service charge will be applicable.

F.A.Q

1. What can we do for fun around the property?
There is a whole lot to do. We have a huge box cricket arena, a volley ball court, a badminton court
apart from single basketball court. Also indulge in archery, cycling, treks and a visit to the famous
Van Vihar Caves.
2. Is there a pool and what's the depth/ length of the pool?
As of now, the pool is inaccessible.
3. Is there a beach close by and is it clean and safe?
No, there is no beach near the chalet.
4. Are there water bodies nearby (such as a pond/ river/ lake etc)?
The seasonal Chillar River flows just 100 meters from the chalet.

1. Do guests have to pay extra for pets?

Yes. Guests have to pay Rs 500 per pet. Meals for pets will be provided at an additional cost. Pets will not be allowed inside the bed rooms.

1. We are planning to drive down. Are the roads good? Any specific things we need to know?

While roads connecting to the property are good, guests are advised to check the road and weather conditions before leaving for a road trip. Our chalet is cool and breezy round the year, so you could visit it anytime.

2. How do we reach your chalet by public transport?

Take the train to Neral and then a taxi/ auto to the property.

1. Is there a security guard / watchman?

Yes. The chalet is located within a gated complex.

2. Are the premises monitored using CCTVs?

There are CCTV camera provisions installed in the exteriors.

3. Is the property properly fenced? Is there a boundary wall?

Yes, our chalets have a stone wall surrounding the premises.

4. Is there First-aid kit available at your Chalet?

Yes, we do have a first-aid kid onsite.

5. Is the chalet and its surroundings well lit up?

The chalet is well lit up. There is enough lighting even in the surrounding areas i.e lawns, grounds.

1. Do you allow loud music?

Given the location of our chalet, playing loud music is allowed within limit and during specific time/hours is fine

2. Is smoking / alcohol consumption permitted?

Yes, smoking is allowed but strictly not inside the chalet. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the garden/lawn area. Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.

3. What are the Check-in & Check-out timings? May I request for late check-outs or an early check-in?

Check-in time is 12 noon and check-out time is 11 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the rooms for our next booking. Guests are requested to respect the timing of other guests as well. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied. Late check-out charges includes meals (lunch).

4. What formalities are needed during check-in and check-out?

As required by law, all adults have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.

5. Are we allowed to access all areas?

All the guest areas are accessible.

1. What is the cancellation policy?

A Guest is entitled to a refund of 75% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 21 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM). No refund is processed after that.

2. Can I pay 70% now and pay the remaining 30% closer to the date?

Yes,  you may pay 70% at the time of booking and rest on arrival (before check-in), if it suits you.

3. How can I make a payment?

Once you have chosen your dates and your booking has been accepted, you will receive an email with details of payment and timeline. In case you are unable to make an online payment through the link, you could also deposit the cash in our bank account directly within the timeline. We offer  various options including Bank Transfer, UPI, IMPS, Google Pay, PayTM, Credit Card and Debit Card

4. How can I make payments onsite, at the chalet?

All additional payments (such as extra meals, pet charges, etc.) will have to be paid to the Team onsite in cash at the end of your stay. In special circumstances, we do accept these payments through PayTM.

5. How and when do I pay for the Security Deposit and how and when is it returned to me?

A security deposit of INR 2000 per room (IN CASH) is collected at the time of check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself (if deposited in cash). If the deposit is made using bank or through any online method – a 25% service charge will be deducted from the security deposit and remaining will sent by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out.

1. What is the type of cuisine served?

Meals include Indian, Chinese, BBQ and occasional Continental.

2. Do you allow us to stock things in your fridge?

Yes, the main kitchen of the resort has a fridge and you are allowed to stock there. Beer chilling charges are Rs. 25 per bottle.

3. Is there a water purifier for drinking water supply? Do we need to carry our own Mineral Water bottles or are these readily available at your chalet?

We serve filtered bore well water. You can buy mineral water bottle too.

4. Is Alcohol allowed? Are there any corkage charges?

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. Rs. 100 corkage charges

5. Is outside food allowed?

No, outside meals are not allowed in the chalet.

1. How many beds are there in every room?

The Bedroom has a queen-size bed and the living room has a queen size sofa-cum-bed adequate for 4 people.

2. How many extra mattresses can be provided?

One extra mattress can be arranged  in the living room. Our chalet has adequate bed sheets, blankets and pillows for extra bedding.

3. What type of beds, mattresses do you have?

All our bedrooms have lovely Queen sized beds. The living room has a low sofa-cum-bed.  

4. Do you provide toiletries and bath towels?

Yes, we provide toiletries like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, towels, etc.

5. Is the Chalet air-conditioned?

Yes, all of our bedrooms and the living area are air-conditioned.

6. Is there Internet/ 3G/ WiFi connection available onsite?

Yes WiFi is available. All network connectivity available but sometimes can be location specific in the estate.

7. Does the chalet face frequent power outages? Are there any inverters or gensets to address this issue?

No, the area does NOT have frequent power-cuts. However since we are in a rural area, back-up of inverter is available. The inverter can run for about 2 hours.

1. Can I reserve your Chalet for a Film/ Photo/ Advertisement shoot?

Yes, you could book the chalet along with the Hallelujah Chalet where we do allow events/shoots, subject to approval.

1. Is Driver and/or House-Help accommodation available?

Driver accommodation is available. 2 people can be accommodated at an additional cost of INR 500 per person, only for the stay. Food is extra.

2. Is parking available onsite or nearby?

Enough free parking space is available onsite.

3. Is the chalet suitable for a day picnic?

Yes, the chalet has a small area within the premises that could be used for outdoor picnic activities apart from lot of common activity areas.

4. Can I reserve your place for special functions such as engagement ceremony, a small wedding ceremony or a birthday party, etc?

Yes, the chalet could be used for a small birthday celebration however if you are planning to host a bigger event then we do allow events/shoots at the Hallelujah chalet, subject to approval.

5. Can I book only one or two rooms, or do I need to book the entire Chalet?

Chalet is given as a whole unit however you could book multiple chalets.

Take the first exit off the Mumbai-Pune Express way at Shedung. Drive past ND studios and Ram Pul to reach Kashele Chaletge. Your destination is just 3 kms from the chaletge
